Being organized doesn’t mean that you only take school assignments into consideration. Think about everything else that you have going on as well. Do you have an event to go to? Do you have sports practice? Are you planning on cooking up a storm?

Just because you have school work to do, doesn’t mean that you should put aside all of the fun things in your life that bring you joy. Instead, plan for those, too. By planning these into your calendar, you will make sure that you actually have time to get to them, and it gives you a better idea of when you should be working on your school assignments.

For example, if you have a big event on Saturday evening, then maybe it is best to get your work done during the day on Saturday. That way, you know it’s done and you won’t need to worry about it during your event.
