Any assignment that you have planned for today will appear here. You can also see how much time you set aside for the assignment. To get more information about it or to view it directly in Google Classroom, you can simply click on the assignment. Any notes or materials that your teachers provide will appear directly in Today. 

When the allocated time is up, your assignment will move from the today list back to your inbox in order for you to plan when you will continue to work on your assignment next. If you complete the assignment, simply select the assignment and click “I'm Done”. You will then be redirected to Google Classroom where you will be able to submit your work. Your assignment will also now appear in your done list.
